A little about the two bearded guys behind The Bearded Marketers.
Since before there was Google, I've been working in internet marketing. I got my start building small affiliate websites and then, in 2006, I joined the MarketingExperiments team working with companies to increase their conversion rates. I left in 2010, and since then I've been involved in a wide variety of internet marketing projects including affiliate marketing, ecommerce, subscription sales, and internet advertising.
After nearly a decade of Online Marketing, my exposure to different verticals has spanned nearly every corner; whether it is vacation sites, Italian cosmetics, sports merchandise, to college admissions lead capture. What really drives my passion is to better understand what drives people to make decisions. Specific areas of my expertise are: Website Optimization (with a specialization in lead capture, usability, and e-commerce), Deep Knowledge of Metrics, and A|B/MVT Testing. It boils down to knowing the right question(s) to ask, and where to get the response from. My goal with this podcast is to help Online Marketers deepen their outlook, avoid my mistakes, and have good dialogue about the issues/questions we face.
